I have a particular appreciation for this piece. It was composed while I was studying as an undergraduate at ESMAE under the supervision of Dimitris Andrikopoulos. It was a moment of freedom, and the moment when I first encountered my own compositional voice. It was first recorded in 2006 by Ars Camerae, and can be best described as an autoethnographic piece. It is formally based on the musical translation of a series of personal events in my life, and technically achieved by capturing their emotional meaning and conveying it through the exploration of microtonal harmonies.
